StreetBuilder, www.streetbuilder.io, is a website owned by The Future Fox Ltd, which is a company registered in England and Wales. Our mission is to accelerate the development of smart, sustainable, and people-focused cities, and we do this by making it easy for anyone to influence planning decisions.
2. Personal data we collect
a, We collect your name, email address, and postcode, so that we can process the suggestions you provide through this website effectively. You will be able to submit your suggestions anonymously if you wish. We do not share your information with third parties or use it for any other purpose other than analysing your suggestions. All personal data will be stored for a maximum of 12 months. Your suggestions and preferences: We record the suggestions and preferences you make on this website.
b, Your suggestions are analysed along with all other suggestions from your community. When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
c, Visitors to this website: We use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect information on how you use the site, using cookies and page tagging techniques. The information we - and Google - collect doesn't identify anyone, and is kept for a maximum of 38 months.
d, Email alerts. We collect your email address, name and subscription preferences when you agree to receive notifications by email. We use a third party service, Mailchimp, to collect this information. We also track how our emails are used - for example whether you open them and which links you click on. If you've signed up for email notifications, you can unsubscribe or change your settings at any time by selecting the 'unsubscribe' link that appears in every email. Once you have unsubscribed, your details will be deleted immediately from the system.
e, Contact form: If you contact us asking a question or giving feedback, we collect your email address and any other personal data contained in your message. When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
f, Spam and abuse: We use a third party service reCaptcha provided by Google to help us protect the website and your comment submissions against spam and abuse from automated software (spam robots).reCaptcha does this by collecting personal information about users to determine whether their humans and not spam robots. Personal information includes your IP address and possibly other data required by the reCaptcha service. Within the European Union your IP address is truncated and as such anonymised.
3. Why we collect personal data
We gather this information in order to:

Publish your response, without your personal details, in the “What others have suggested” page
Avoid automated spam and abuse
Our website will place a “cookie” on your computer to help improve your experience when you visit our site, detect spam and navigate through our site. You can delete it using your browser settings (these vary depending on which software you are using).
5. Facebook (visitor action pixel)
We use the “visitor action pixels” from Facebook Inc on our website. This allows user behavior to be tracked after they have been redirected to the StreetBuilder website by clicking on a Facebook ad. This enables us to measure the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes (only when you have been redirected from Facebook to our website).
The data collected in this way is anonymous to us, i.e. we do not see the personal data of individual users. However, this data is stored and processed by Facebook, which is why we are informing you. Facebook may link this information to your Facebook account and also use it for its own promotional purposes, in accordance with Facebook’s Data Usage Policy https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/. You can allow Facebook and its partners to place ads on and off Facebook. A cookie may also be stored on your computer for these purposes. Facebook is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and thus guarantees compliance with European data protection legislation
6. Your rights
You have a right of access to any personal data we hold about you, by making a Subject Access Request (SAR) to our contact email below. In addition, if you believe that the data we hold is inaccurate or incomplete you can ask us to update our records. If you are unhappy with the way in which we process your personal data you can request that we stop or restrict the processing of your data or ask us to delete the personal data we hold about you.
